Booking and Payment

Let's Go offers a free service which allows Users to contact each other directly to arrange a car share by setting up a meeting point and agreeing travel conditions (including size of luggage, whether smoking is permitted, whether pets are permitted, whether music can be played in the car etc).
Car owners and Co-Travelers will have no recourse to Let's Go for any aspect of the transaction including in relation to cancellation, last minute changes, failure by the Car owners or the Co-Travelers to turn up. In particular it is the Car owners’s responsibility to collect the booking code from the Co-Travelers before a trip for verification and approval by Let's Go.
Subject to the online payment of a Booking Fee by the Co-Travelers , Cost Contributions are collected using the Site from the Co-Travelers on behalf of the Car owners by Let's Go . Let's Go will take no steps whatsoever to manage the booking. The Ridesharing service itself is managed by Car owners and Co-Travelers only.
Let's Go reserves the right not to offer the Booking Service to a Trip due to:

  • 1. changes to applicable law, changes in the practice of regulatory authorities or changes in case law
  • 2. changes to market practices or technology change
  • 3. changes of business considerations underlying the Booking Services
  • 4. other important and valid reasons

Let's Go reserves the right to limit the number and/or class of Members eligible to the Booking Service for any Trip.

Cancellation Policy

Let's Go offers its Users a ride cancellation policy which assists in reducing the risks of a cancellation of a Trip
The Cancellation Policy:

  • 1. Entitles Car owners to receive a compensation if the following conditions are met:
    • 1. Late cancellation by the Co-Traveler that is less than 24 hours before the agreed departure time grants the Car Owner 50% of the cost contribution.
    • 2. No official cancellation through the platform has been made and the ride service has started ,grants the Car Owner 100% of the cost contribution .
  • 2. Entitles Co-Travelers to receive a compensation if the following conditions are met:
    • 1. The Car owner cancels more than 10 km after departure or on the day of the trip for any reason a full refund less the Booking Fee.
    • 2. Late cancellation by the Co-Traveler that is less than 24 hours before the agreed departure time ,this costs the Co-Traveler 50% of the cost contribution including the Booking Fee.
    • 3. No official cancellation through the platform has been made and the ride service has started ,this costs the Co-Traveler 100% of the cost contribution including the Booking Fee.
    • 4. The Car owner cancels the trip for any reason a full refund less the Booking Fee.
    • 5. If the Co-Traveler cancels more than 24 hours before the agreed departure time, the Passenger shall be entitled to a full refund of the Cost Contribution less the Booking Fee. As the result, the Driver shall not be entitled to any compensation.
  • 3. Metrics produced by the platform can determine an Acceptance rate by the Car Owner .This metric determines whether or not the Car Owner pays a fine for ride cancellations
    • 1. An Acceptance rate above 90% means the Car Owner does not pay a fine.
    • 2. An Acceptance rate between 89% and 70% means the Car Owner pays a fine of USD $2.
    • 3. An Acceptance rate below 69% results in the Car Owner's Account being under review and possibly termination as investigations for suspicious activity are carried out .
  • 4. Any seats that become available following a cancellation by a Co-Traveler under these Conditions shall automatically become available to other Co-Traveler for online Booking on the Site and therefore become subject to the Cancellation Policy.
  • 5.Co-Travelers can make a new booking or claim their compensation when their ride has been canceled.

Booking Fee & Online Payment

In consideration of the Cancellation Policy, Let's Go shall charge a Booking Fee .The Booking Fee consists of a fixed amount of USD $0.50. The Booking Fee will apply for each car seat made available.

  • As soon as practicable from the date of the acceptance of the ride request , the User Account of the Co Travelers shall show the amount of the Cost Contribution which includes the booking fee payable to Let's Go .
  • Let's Go shall make payment to Car Owners at the end of each Trip .
  • No payment shall be made to the Car Owners unless the Car Owner provides to Let's Go his or her bank details.
  • The Car Owners’ bank details are stored on "Settings"> "Bank details" and not available to the public.
  • No payment may be made to a Car Owner on an account that has not been opened in his or her name.
